What’s Next?
2008 Spring Training Challenge April 22nd – May 31st
It may be snowing in March around the Puget Sound, but Spring is just around the corner! Participate in the Healthiest State Campaign’s second annual Spring Training Challenge, April 22nd – May 31st.
Keep working on your New Year’s Resolution Challenge progress, get into shape for summer, and maybe you’ll be a winner…in the 2008 Spring Training Challenge. Participate at www.HealthiestState.org.
For the first time in the Puget Sound region, everyone has information to see how we are doing, community-wide, on ensuring that patients get certain aspects of health care that are recommended by national medical guidelines.
The first regional "Community Checkup," produced by the Puget Sound Health Alliance, shows that we all have room for improvement. The report — based on a vast draw of data reflecting the care provided to more than 1.6 million patients in King, Pierce, Snohomish, Kitsap and Thurston counties — identified opportunity for improvement in essentials such as cholesterol checks and other basic services.
To learn more and read the full report, visit the Community Checkup website at www.wacommunitycheckup.org.
